As a composer of film and television music, Richard has been recognised with both international and British Academy Awards and four Ivor Novello nominations.\u00b6<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Working with celebrated composer Maurice Jarre in the mid-1970s fuelled Richard’s rich career as a sought-after film composer. He has scored more than 70 television and film projects, from British television series, documentaries and feature-length TV films, to major Hollywood movies. He contributed the much-loved Kyrie for the Magdalene<\/span><\/em> to Hans Zimmer’s score for the smash hit “The Da Vinci Code”<\/span><\/em> (2006). Most recently Richard completed animated feature “The Little Prince”<\/span><\/em> (directed by Mark Osborne), also with Hans Zimmer.\u00b6<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Richard is also an important presence in the Thai film industry, composing for four of the biggest movies ever produced in Thailand, including the epic “King Naresuan”<\/span><\/em> (Part I, 2006, Part II, 2007, and Part IV, 2011). He was honoured with a Royal invitation to work closely with executive producer Francis Ford Coppola and score the great historic movie “Suriyothai”<\/span><\/em>, now recognised as a classic of the Thai cinema.\u00b6<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
